ZTE Mimosa X Mobile Review

Continuing with its Android’s effort, ZTE launched another mid-range android phone – ZTE Mimosa X Mobile. With the new smartphone, the Chinese company ZTE is expected to make a promising entry intended to attract the mass market that’s looking for remarkable features in budgeted range.

Design

ZTE Mimosa X Mobile looks like a big handset launched to give a competitive edge to the major smartphones in the market. The phone sports 4.3 inch HD Capacitive TFT touchscreen of which comes with the screen resolution of 540 x 960 pixels.

The handset is reasonably slim with just 9.9mm thickness and weight of 110gs, but the overall build of the phone is not designed for tiny pocket. The looks of Mimosa X Mobile may appear similar like ZTE’s Windows smartphone‘Tania’; with four physical buttons on the front panel for Home, Back, Options and Search.

Mimosa X mobile comes with black plasticky finish which looks sturdy when looked up-close. The textured back panel and the curved edges make it highly comfortable when held in hand and ensures easy grip for your on-the-go needs.

Performance

Moving on to the tech specs of ZTE Mimosa X, the first most extraordinary thing is its dual-core processor of 1.2GHz clocking speed. The package of 1GB RAM and ULP GeForce GPU ensures that your gaming experience and the graphical content works efficiently with speedier processing.

The Mimosa X phone runs on Google’s latest Operating system – Android V4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Thankfully,ZTE has made efforts to introduce the latest Android OS in the phone where only fraction of devices is currently running on ICS.

The ZTE’s UI looks like HTC Sense to a great extent with additional handy features of android in it.

Connectivity

The ZTE mobile comes with GPS support, Bluetooth 2.1, proximity sensor and accelerator. For all the movie freaks,ZTE has included Advanced Audio distribution Profile, Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) for ease of content sharing and Dolby sound for remarkable HD video playback.

There are other major ports incorporated in the phone for network connectivity including Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Wi-Fi direct, Wi-Fi hotspot; the phone is also GPRS and EDGE supported.

Camera

ZTE Mimosa X Mobile is shipped with 5 Megapixel camera which is quite common in majority smartphones these days. The camera can fetch the image capturing of 2592?1944 pixels. Thanks to the accompanying Auto Focusfeature and LED flash which capture sharper images in low light and deliver output with lesser image noise.

The rear camera can also boast video recording of 720 pixels. Make use of its internal 4GB space for storing all your images and videos which can be expanded to 32GB using external memory card.
