Expanding the successful Asha Family, launched in October 2011, Nokia has brought in three low-end touch screen mobiles. One of the newly launched handset is Nokia Asha 311 mobile designed specifically to attract young mobile consumers who chose their mobile phone depending on their lifestyle.

Design

Nokia Asha 311 Mobile is designed with incredibly rich features which will deliver the experience to the user not lesser than a smartphone. The phone sports beautiful 3.5 inch fast and Fluid Capacitive touch screen which comes as a bright colorful screen, supporting 240 x 400 pixels screen resolution.

The appearance of the phone from other phones present in Nokia Touch phone array. The colorful side and bottom panels’ prototype comes with two physical buttons for receiving and cutting calls/Power button on the front panel of the phone.

Performance

While most of the phones being offered in the market today are running on Android, Nokia has preferred to stay onSymbian OS. Still, the operating system included in Asha 311 Mobile will let you stay in touch with your social circles through applications like Whatsapp and popular social networking sites.

The phone works on commendable CPU of 1GHz speed but disappointingly phone is incorporated with only 128MB RAM.

On the other hand, if you depend highly on phone’s memory, then it might become difficult as Nokia offers only 140MB of internal space to the user. But phone allows the user to expand the internal memory using MicroSD card slot up to 32GB.

Features

Nokia Asha 311 Mobile is equipped with decent 3.15 Megapixel camera which lets you click 2048 x 1536 pixels images. The camera comes with basic enhancing features including Still Image Editor, Exposure compensation,full Screen viewfinder, Self Timer and Auto & Manual White Balance.

You can also record video of VGA Quality at 25 frames per second using its rear camera. The phone doesn’t come with secondary camera on the front which lets you do video calling to your closed ones.

The new touch phone from Nokia comes preloaded with 40 free EA games including popular game Angry Birds. The phone also supports video playback in formats such as MP4, H.263, H264 and WMV or you can listen to your favorite audio files of MP3, WAV, AAC and WMA.

The phone comes with 1110mAh battery which powers the phone for up to 14hours in 2G network and up to 6 hours in 3G network.
