Acer Iconia Tab A210 is the latest addition in the Acer’s lineup of Tablets which was released along with Acer Iconia Tab A110, claimed to be the one of cheapest tablets in the market. The new tablet Iconia A210 is a mid-range Android device featuring notable features including 10.1 inch screen and quad core processor to name a few.

Design

Acer Iconia Tab A210 tablet is a typical tablet design with black shiny edges around the screen and shiny greyish back panel. The finish isn’t shiny enough to smudge the surface with your fingerprints so lesser vulnerability.

The tablet supports 10.1 inch capacitive multi touchscreen which offers smooth screen operation. The screen supports 1280 x 800 pixels resolution which gives you the feel of watching HD content on screen; be it watching your all-time favorite video or playing a game, you will watch them all in full contrast and colors.

There’s no physical button on the tablet but there are three capacitive buttons on the left bottom of the screen.

Performance

Acer Iconia Tab A210 tablet can be considered a powerful device in world of tablets. The tablet is bestowed with Quad Core Tegra 3 Processor which ensures that you never get bugged off with slower applications processing or hanging issues as the processor offers 1.2GHz clocking speed.

Toting Android v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, this new Acer tablet lets you download and enjoy thousands of applications from Android Market. The Tablet is in built with 1GB RAM which lets your application run smoothly and quickly.

Inside the tablet, it is equipped with 8GB memory which is expandable up to 32GB using external memory card.

Connectivity

For internet connection, the tablet allows connecting via Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n interface which lets you access web at reasonably high speed. The tablet also supports GPS allowing users to get navigational assistance as and when required at different locations.

The new Acer Tablet offers user the power of wireless data transfer using its 2.1 EDR Bluetooth technology. You can also make transfers through USB 2.0 port using MicroUSB connector for making transfers from one device to another.

Camera

Unlike most of the companies who are coming with good quality camera on their slates, Acer hasn’t given much of preference to the camera. There’s a front facing camera instilled on IconiaTab A210 which can be used for decent image capturing.
