Sony Xperia Neo L, Sony’s First Android 4.0 ICS Mobile

Sony Xperia Neo L MT25i Mobile Review

In the league of Smartphones, Sony made a mid-range entry with a high end mobile handset. Sony Neo L is the newest addition in Xperia line up which is basically inspired from Neo and Neo V smartphones, the earlier versions of the new handset.

Design

Sony Xperia carries a traditional curved ergonomics design with which Sony NXT design archetype associates with. The arched curves in a black and white appearance make it an overall beautiful structure which neither looks neither too sleek nor too bulky.

Xperia Neo L sports 4 inch LED Backlit LCD screen with 480 x 854 pixels screen resolution, supporting capacitive touch. The FWVGA screen is a little bigger than the original version which might be advantage for the first time buyer of Xperia range.

Performance & Software

Sony Xperia Neo is incorporated with 1GHz Scorpion Processor on Qualcomm Snapdragon Chipset andAdrenno205 GPU which ensures faster processing of your mobile computing task. The only disappointment here is incorporation of 512MB RAM which is comparatively lower as compared to other smartphones.

The phone is powered with Android latest version V4.0.3 – Ice cream Sandwich, becoming the first smartphone fromXperia NXT line up to work on ICS. The phone also incorporates A-GPS support which makes sure that you are guided through correct navigational paths while you are on-the-go.

The Phone incorporates 1500mAh battery which can last up to approx. 8 hrs of talk time and 575 hrs of standby time.

Camera

Sony Xperia Neo L carries 5MP camera at the back panel which can capture 2592 x 1944 pixels still images. To assure you blur free and bright shots, the rear camera accompanies auto Focus and LED flash. There are other rear camera features as well including touch focus and Geo tagging.

The Rear camera can fetch video recording of 720 pixels which can be recorded at 30 frames per second and there’s a video light for improving low light video recording.

The Phone is embedded with 2 MP front snapper which enables VGA quality video calling.

Connectivity

You can connect to your favorite Social Networking site using Wi-Fi hotspot or using Wi-Fi port. The phone also supports GPRS connectivity at up to 80Kbps and EDGE connectivity at up to 237 kbps.

The phone supports 3G HSPA connectivity with download speed of up to 7.2 Mbps and carries uploading at the speed up to 5.76Mbps.

Sony Xperia neo L Mobile Price in India – Rs. 20,000 (Expected)
