Review
If you think slim and sleek smartphones are not handy enough for managing the ever evolving technological innovations, then Sony has launched a new SmartWatch as a compact and portable option. Sony, with the launch of its new classy and highly sophisticated SmartWatch, has brought almost a new revolution in the field of telecommunication.
Connect Sony SmartWatch with your Android phone via Bluetooth and keep yourself updated with your phone calls, messages, social networking notifications and many more with just tying a wrist watch.
Design
It is designed with a flip clip at the back of a 36mm neat little square, which is tied through a silicon strap available in various bright colors. The wristwatch assures perfect fitting without much of hassles in tying of the strap.
The 36mm width makes it look thicker than an average wristwatch and the aluminum casing which provides it an optimum durability, gives it a bulky appearance.
Functions
By Default, the watch displays digital clock on its 1.3 inch OLED screen and if clicked at the side, the screen will display four programmable shortcuts – music, messaging, weather and Facebook/Twitter. You might be able to see other available applications only if you don’t break the Bluetooth connection of your phone.
If that sounds Smart then don’t get mislead with all these impressive features. If you have logged on to Twitter application, even a single twitter notification will trigger an alert on your wrist. Even worse is the super smooth touch which is scarily too fast or we should say too speedy to disappoint you at times (after posting a wrong message online).
It connects via Bluetooth 3.0 and pings you with a vibration alert and name display on the screen when somebody calls. The SmartWatch is most compatible with Xperia series handsets but can work out with other Bluetooth enabled Android handsets as well.
With the powerful battery of 95 hours, you can enjoy hours of music playback and social network browsing while on-the-move.
Sony SmartWatch is well engineered but its high end capability doesn’t work on the small responsive screen especially when you’re reading a message or while jogging where just a hit can make a miss.
Sony Smartwatch Price in India – Rs. 7,500/-
