Blackberry launched another phone in its Smartphone array –Blackberry Curve 9220 to regain its lost glory in the Smartphone market. With Blackberry Curve 9220, the company has strategically targeted the youth generations who seek easy way to stay in touch with their social connections.

The new Blackberry Curve 9220 is power packed with Blackberry latest’s operating systemBlackberry V 7.1 to ensure fastest and smoothest functioning till date along with some preloaded applications and attractive new features.

The phone is incorporated with 2.44 inch transmissive TFT LCD Screen with QVGA resolution of 320×240 pixels.

The phone is powered by Dual core 1.2GHz processor and supports 512MB RAM and 512 MB ROM. The internal memory is expandable up to 32GB through MicroSD Card slot.

Curve 9220 too has a centrally located Optical Track pad which is somehow different from the earlier Curve variants. For the first time, there is a dedicated BBM key on the left hand side of phone for quick social connectivity. The overall designing is given slim and sleek finish which ensures great texting and emailing experience while you are on-the-go.

Moving on the to the multimedia specifications, Blackberry Curve 9220 is equipped with dual 2 megapixel camera which can shoot 1600×1200 pixels images and also enables Video recording. For the very first time, Blackberry has integrated an FM antenna enabling on-the-go music experience to all the FM lovers.

Blackberry Curve 9220 supports Wi-Fi connectivity with Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and also incorporates Bluetooth V2.0with A2DP. One of the drawbacks is that it doesn’t support the 3rd generation Network connectivity (3G).

Blackberry has also assured that Curve 9220 model comes with a remarkable battery life and by far the best in Curve array. This “longest lasting battery” can give user up to seven hours of talk time, 18 days of standby time and 28 hours of music listening via FM or Audio playback software on headphones.
