War of the New Mobile OS’s – Windows 8 Vs Apple iOS6 Vs Android Jelly Bean

Windows 8 Vs iOS6 Vs Android V4.1 Jelly Bean

The global tech giants GoogleMicrosoft and Apple are racing in the Operating System markets, offering competitive features including enhanced Location-based applications, mobile payment services, better browsing and much more.
Lately, all the three companies uncovered their respective Operating systems in their individual Developer’s conferences by providing customized experience to the users especially location based applications.
It hadn’t been a while when we saw Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich launch in the market, that Google hopped in again to come with upgraded version-Jelly Bean. With the launch of Jelly Bean, the real Battle actually started between the three top notch technology houses – Google (Android Jelly Bean), Apple (iOS6) and Microsoft (Windows 8).

Few highlights of Android Jelly Bean , Microsoft Windows 8 and Apple iOS6

Aesthetics
What appeals the most is the Aesthetics of a smartphone which revolves around its User Interface and Interactivity.
Android Jelly Bean is based on its previous version ICS which can be considered its platform. In the standard form it can be accustomed to your wallpapers choice for giving personal touch. All thanks to numerous widget applications on Google play and interactive features which let you do what you want.
Microsoft Windows 8 offer more customization than its predecessor. The new OS comes with resizing of tiles option which can happen in three different sizes for varied sized information. At one go, the screen can accommodate maximum of 32 tiles which allows ease of quick access of the icons.
You will find some peppy colors on in the new interfaces. Overall, the fluidic and appealing Interface makes the tech biggie Microsoft score major brownie points.
Apple iOS6 is made much easier to use since its first version. Enhanced functioning, stylish operations andsmoother tasking is what defines this new iOS however aesthetically, this hasn’t been touched in the new version.
You’ll see more of white and silver appearance on the interface as small icons.
Out of the three, Apple iOS 6 has been continued with the traditional look which makes it look outdated whileMicrosoft and Google have worked harder on giving their new OS a shiny and bright appearance.

Games & Applications

Android Jelly Bean – Currently running 600,000 applications, most of them designed to run on smartphones andtablets. Yes it touches the million mark technically! Visibly, these millions of offerings are not optimized for tablets which makes it lesser preferable than iOS6.
Windows Phone 8 – It runs 100,000 apps currently which are available to users for download but something lesser than what Android offers. We haven’t got to test those applications yet since no Windows 8 tablets and mobiles are available yet.
Apple iOS6 – With over 650,000 applications Apple top the charts for offering downloading interesting applications for smartphones and tabletsdedicated 225,000 applications for Apple iPad.
Facebook Integration
Android Jelly Bean – offers commendable Facebook integration. Upload and share unlimited content anywhere in the OS. You can sync your phone contacts with Facebook data on your phone.
Microsoft Windows 8 -  is one of the selling points of Windows Phone which allows ease of status update, chatting, image uploading, making schedules and much through Microsoft’s own sections.
Apple iOS 6 – Facebook integration through Apple iOS6 is also easy which indirectly means uploading and updating is reasonably comfortable; you can sync your iOS calendar with Facebook events.

Mobile Payment

Android Jelly Bean – comes with Google Wallet which offers mobile paymentsrewards/offers/deals, discounts and much more.
Microsoft Windows Phone 8 – With this new OS you will be able to access credit/debit cardsloyalty cardsthrough its Digital wallet. What’s going to be the plus point is additional security through NFC elements stored onSIM cards which will allow secure operations.
Apple iOS 6 – As it doesn’t have NFC, it can’t offer Mobile payments. But probably, it has something different. Apple has ‘Passbook’ which allows you to collect your ticket, debit/credit cards, rewards and much more. You will also be notified with the updates for the products you have got stored in Passbook such as expiring offers, flights details etc.
