Asus N56VM Notebook is an Ivy Bridge composition which is designed to give state-of-the-art experience to the users both at professional level and for everyday entertainment. Asus N56VM laptop is an important laptop for a company as the market is seeing a lot of demands in 15.6” laptops and Asus has thought of considering N Series the main flagship in the coming year.

Design

The notebook is an abstract combination of class and technology. By looking at the device, you won’t say Asus has used cheap materials. The laptop is solid construction with metal cover on the lid and the metal interior. Just below that is a plastic base but don’t worry it would easily handle the roughs and toughs of handling.

The chassis of the laptop is just 26mm (approx.) which cannot be termed too thick for a laptop. But yes it looks a bit larger than other laptops. The laptop weighs approximately 2.6kgs which makes it comparatively bulkier to and difficult to hold for longer time.

The Brushed metal is the trend of today but Asus laptop has something different to spice up its design. There’s an Asus Logo just placed at the center of the lid that lights up on turning the system on. On the laptop you will find a cluster of dots originating from two buttons placed at the two corners of the laptop.

We can credit its larger appearance to its 15.6” HD/Full HD screen which comes with Wide View Angle and LED backlight feature. The HD resolution means crispier texts and stunning HD resolution videos and images.

Performance

The Asus new notebook is incorporated with Intel Ivy Bridge Processor Core i7 3610QM which brings the next level of computing experience to the users. The processor is fitted on NVidia GeForce GT 630M graphics card which delivers dynamic graphics performance during your gaming and video playback.

The 2GB DDR3 RAM integrated in the system assists in your smoother multiple application operation. For saving all your applications, different multimedia files including music, videos and movies, the system comes with 1TB SATA memory which will never run you short of space.

Connectivity

Asus N56VM Notebook offers plenty of connectivity options to the user, incorporated around its perimeter. On the left of the construction, you will find 2 USB 3.0 Ports, an HDMI port for supporting HD movie playback on your TV or via Home Theatre System, an Ethernet 10/100/1000 jack and a VGA port for connecting external monitor.

On the other side, you will find two more USB 3.0 ports, a microphone-in jack/Headphone-out jack and a Speaker out port. There’s a 3-in-1 card reader which lets you access SD, MS, MS Pro and MMC cards.

For wireless internet connection, you can make use of integrated 802.11b/g/n interface and for wireless data transfer you can make use of built-in Bluetooth v4.0 technology.
