Nikon Artisans have been delivering the photography world with finest imaging optics crafted out of premium materials blended with technology and intellect. One of such optics is NIKKOR 80-200mm Zoom lens which is one of the best telephoto zoom lens from Nikon’s wide collection of professional lens.

The lens integrates tripod collar which speaks itself for the weight and size of the lens. Since it is a big construction of approx. 1.3kgs, it requires a solid support when used for shooting which is ensured using a suitable tripod.
There’s an individual control ring for switching between Autofocus and manual focusing; there’s no internalAutofocus motor. For assisting in low light photography, the lens is equipped with focus limiter where AF is highly needed.
The lens comes with Nikon F-Bayonet mount types which can fit filter size of 77mm.
Features
Nikon NIKKOR 80-200mm Zoom lens offers superior performance with its AF capability. The focal length range of 80mm to 200mm and its superb 2.5x telephoto zoom makes it highly suitable for sports, nature photography and Portrait clicks.
The lens is Nikon’s patented Extra Low dispersion (ED) glass which provides extreme sharpness and minimum chromatic aberrations. The fluorite connection of the lens helps removing the aberration created by light rays of various wavelengths through the optical glass.
The fast and constant aperture of f/2.8 is managed throughout the focal range which works with the ED glasselement to give you high definition image output.
For further enhancing the performance of the lens, the lens is coated with Super Integrated Coating (SIC) fromNikon which is multilayer coating that minimizes the flares and ghosts in the photographs.
The wider wavelength brings more reflection which is somehow controlled by Nikon SIC and helps you achieve higher color balance and reproduction in the output.
The lens is a 7 straight blade diaphragm construction which can give your photographs ‘out of focus-bokeh’ effect as and when required. For making mediocre to splendid bokeh effect, all you need to do is make some suitable focal length settings to get the desired effect in the image output.
The NIKKOR Zoom lens offer a wide aperture range which range from f/2.8(max) to f/22(min). The maximumaperture of f/2.8 also lets you take some brilliant low light shots or let you capture some actions which need faster shutter speeds.
