Samsung U485 Intensity III phone is a Verizon release from the mobile leader Samsung which has again showed its supremacy through its uniquely designed phone. Samsung U485 Intensity III phone for Verizon is a mixture of QWERTY and bar design construction which comes in slider construction.

Design

The new QWERTY phone is a solid construction which offers both QWERTY typing operations and traditional candy bar phone styled typing. You can either use the phone for typing in traditional keypad and for switching on to QWERTY you will have to slide the screen.

The phone is not a sleek prototype as found in the market mostly these days and comes with thickness of 14.5mm. Since it is engrossed two different keypads, it is reasonably bulky with the weight of 115g. The phone is made resistant to humidity, rain, solar radiation and thermal shock resistant.

The phone comes with 2.4 inch TFT screen which supports resolution of 240 x 320 pixels giving decent content display on screen. The screen supports both horizontal and vertical orientation depending upon its keypad usage.

Camera

Samsung U485 Intensity III phone is integrated with 2MP which can boast image quality of 1600 x 1200 pixels. You cannot call the camera a very good one as it doesn’t perform well in low light and also doesn’t give highly focused or sharp images.

With the rear camera you can record VGA quality video but there’s no secondary camera – so no video chatting through this phone is possible.

Memory

The phone allows you to store 1000 phonebook entries in the phone and also allows Photocall function. There’s a dedicated internal memory of a phone which can be increased up to 32GB using MicroSD card.

Connectivity

With Samsung U485 Intensity III phone you can enjoy network connectivity that lets you access web at 384kbps. There’s no LAN, GPRS and EDGE connectivity allowed in the phone.

For wireless data transfer, you can connect phone with other devices via Bluetooth and can also make transfer by connecting your mobile through MicroUSB v2.0 to a supporting device.

Multimedia

The new Samsung U485 Intensity III phone enables video and audio playback for those who are music freaks. You can play MP3, eAAC+ and WMA audio files while can play MP4, H.264 and H.263 video formats on the phone.
