Huawei Ascend Q Mobile is an Android based smartphone from Chinese Telecommunications company which has launched the new handset on Cricket as a prepaid device. The handset is going to be a low-end Android handsetwhich is going to portray QWERTY keypad as its basic layout feature- something which can be considered disappointing rarity in the touchscreen phone markets.

Design

What strikes the most in the new handset Huawei Ascend Q is its different prototype which is a solid amalgamation of QWERTY and touchscreen on a single platform.

The phone is a touch bar form which comes with three capacitive touch buttons on the front and rest in the form of a QWERTY keyboard. The keyboard comes with small and raised keys which give ease of typing for mid-sized hands.

Huawei Ascend Q Mobile comes with 3.2 inch TFT touchscreen which lets you do touch screen maneuvers easily, especially your navigational functions. The phone comes with 320 x 480 pixels screen resolution which supports 180 ppi pixel density which cannot be termed extraordinary.

Performance

If we talk about performance, what is the most highlighting its processor which is single core 800MHz CPU. Since the phone belongs to cheaper segment, the company hasn’t worked out much in this particular department.

The phone runs on Android V2.3.6 Gingerbread platform which lets you download hundreds of games and applications from Android market. Save your downloading on its internal memory which can be expandable as and when required through MicroSD card.

The phone is packed with 1700mAH lithium Ion battery which allows decent talk time and multimedia usage.

Camera

Huawei Ascend Q Mobile is integrated with 3 Megapixel Fixed focus camera which allows digital zoom. There’s noLED flash to support low light photography but yes! It does allow you to record your favorite moments in the form of video footage of H.263 and MPEG4 video formats.

Connectivity

Huawei Ascend Q Mobile is instilled with IEEE 802.11b/g/n interface which allows wireless network connectivitywith faster speed. For wireless data transfer, you can make use of Bluetooth v2.1 or you can bung in USB wire for making file exchange using USB port.
