Design

Nikon TC –20E III teleconverter is crafted to seamlessly fit the wide range of NIKKOR lens mount. The equipment features touch release mechanism for versatile usage, rubber seal for body mount and a big sized button forquick removal of the teleconverter from the camera. Accompanying that is a newly designed cover and a storage pouch for protection.

The Teleconverter comes with the dimensions of 66mm diameter and 48mm extension from projection, making it a very compact form factor for improving your distant photography maneuvers. Apart from that, its light-weight build of 330g makes it highly compatible for travelling purposes.

Features

The teleconverter from Nikon is highly compatible with latest VR and Auto Focus coupling system which makes it a must have accessory for a wildlife photographer imaging kit. It allows autofocussing with AF-S and AF-I lensesand works quite well with basic f/2 or f/4 super telephoto lens.

The device doesn’t support working with Nikon AF Lenses and don’t try using it with 70 – 300mm lens of f/2.8. Theteleconverter is only meant for professional photographers who are well aware of the super telephoto lensworking and own one; strictly not for consumer lens.

Nikon TC-20E III Teleconverter improves light transmission efficiency which brings enhanced color uniformityand reduces flare in the photographs.

The Teleconverter works as a source of multiplying focal length by placing it between the lens and the camera body. The reduced light transmission helps fighting from the effective minimum aperture of the lens in use, reducing aperture by two stops and doubling the focal length; on attaching it with f/2 aperture, the min aperture comes out to be f/4.

Its 7 aspherical lens element construction in 5 groups removes chromatic aberrations especially those happening in wide aperture setting.
