Design

The Micro NIKKOR 200mm lens is a hard tubular construction packed in leatherette case which shouts for its quality. The leatherette case is lined with brown velvet which adds a class to the construction.

Inside the hood is a metal bodied robust piece of optical equipment which comes with a huge focus ring at the front, almost covering half the barrel. The mount is a non-removable type which is up to 32mm wide. Since it can’t be removed it makes it highly incompatible for hand held shooting.

At the front of the mount is an aperture ring with a lock especially meant for modern Auto Cameras. The lens offers commendable aperture range of minimum f/32 to maximum up to f/4 offering striking image quality with reproduction ratio of up to 1:1.
