HTC Desire V, Android Dual Sim Smartphone

Review

HTC has finally entered the dual SIM arena with its latest phone launch – HTC Desire V. HTC has crafted the new dual SIM phone with regard to growing needs of consumers who keep their professional and personal life separated.

Design
Particularly restricting to its familiar design of latest smartphones, HTC Desire V too has been given a sleek look in robust chassis with metallic edges. The phone is a 9.3mm slim prototype with 114g weight which makes it highly pocket-able and comfort at grip. All thanks to its curved edges which ensures the ease of handling.
The phone features 4 inch wide screen which comes with capacitive touch control. The phone delivers your content on display with vibrant colors and high resolution as it supports 233 ppi pixels density and comes with screen resolution of 480 x 800 pixels.

Performance
HTC Desire V is packed with Cortex-A5 Processor which clocks at 1GHz accompanied by Qualcomm Snapdragon Chipset. The phone is A-GPS enabled which supports your navigational needs while you are travelling. The phone also ensures a splendid graphics performance with its Adreno 200 GPU.
The phone runs on Android Latest OS version – Ice Cream Sandwich which brings to you the fastest growing OS of the world. The phone is integrated with HTC Sense latest UI v4.0 which brings smoother and user friendly operations for the users.
For storing your multimedia and data files, Desire V offers 4GB internal Memory which is expandable up to 32 GB using external Memory card.
One of the precious features that HTC included in that is the Dual SIM capability which is seen first time in HTC model. With Desire V, HTC has started shaping its handset into modest mobile for all those who use several SIMs.

Multimedia
HTC’s new smartphone Desire V is incorporated with 5 Megapixel camera which lets you click impressive images at both indoor and outdoor locations. Accompanying the rear camera is an Auto Focus and LED Flash which makes sure you click blur-free and lesser noisy pictures.
There’s no secondary camera in the phone but don’t worry for video capturing. The primary camera of the phone enables decent video recording.
HTC Desire V has been integrated with HTC’s own Beats Audio which brings to you good audio experience. Plug in the headphone in the 3.5mm Audio jack of the phone and enjoy some grooving sound experience with HTC Beats Audio.

Internet Connectivity
HTC Desire V Mobile offers GSM connectivity to the users in both SIM slots. Of course it supports Wi-Fi but disappointingly the HSDPA offered works only on SIM 1. The phone also enables Internet connection via Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n port, Wi- Fi Hotpot or you can make use of GPRS on the phone for instant web access.
