With Excite 10 LE Tablet, Toshiba has given the slimmest and lightest tablet to the world of mobile technology. Don’t go only on the slim looks, the tablet is equally powerful in durability, looks and performance.

Design

Toshiba Excite 10 LE Tablet is impossibly light and thin with just 0.3 inch thickness and 512gms weight. The weight may not sound light in numbers but when you’ll actually hold it, you’ll feel the difference with any other 10 inch tablet.

While the mantle is thinnest, the lack of flat edges and taper makes it little thick in the first look. The comfortable curves on the thin design provides ease of grip and also enable including a miniHDMI port, MicroSD card slots and amicro USB ports.

Looking at the 30-pin port, you might feel little disappointing as it needs a chunky and obnoxiously large cord for connection – much larger in comparison to Apple and Samsung Connectors.

Display

Toshiba Excite 10 LE Tablet sports 10.1 inch display with screen resolution 0f 1280 x 800 pixels. The wide angle view of the display and HD resolution ensures that you get the crispier and colorful image quality while playing games or watching videos.

Performance and Software

Excite 10 LE Tablet integrates latest quad-core processor from NVidia which clocks at 1.2GHz. With 3210 cores, expect some brilliant performance during heavy multitasking and enjoy long hours of exciting gaming sessions withToshiba Excite LE Tablet.

Toshiba Excite 10 LE ships with Android V3.2 HoneyComb which is upgradable to ICS. Toshiba haven’t touched the skin or user interface and has maintained the traditional interface of Google Android.

Storage

Looking at the on-board capacity, Toshiba Excite 10 Tablet is incorporated with 16GB internal storage which is expandable using MicroSD card slot.

Camera

The Tablets is fixed with 5 MP camera at the rear side which is not competent enough to deliver good shots in low lights. You may see considerable color noise and over sharpened picture with this camera but you can get decent shots clicked at outdoors with balanced color, light and lesser noise. There’s a low resolution front camera of 1 Mega pixel which also gives noisy pictures.

Multimedia

Tablet supports all major Audio and video formats like for Audio – WMA,MP3,WAVE, AAC formats and video in H.264, MPEG4, DivX and XviD up to 1080 pixels resolution. There are number of sound options in SRS system which can boost the audio power.
