Sony Xperia SX Smartphone Review

Sony made another promising entry with 4G LTE connectivity device as a new addition in the Xperia Line-up – Sony Xperia SX mobile. The new phone is expected to arrive in liaison with AT&T and is being launched to offer LTE connectivity to its users.

Design

Sony Xperia SX Mobile is a tiny phone in a typical “Xperia” phones appearance of bright whitish touch. The phone comes with just 9.4mm thick structure and weight of just 95 gms which makes it World’s lightest 4G LTE smartphone.

The phone is highly inspired in design from Xperia Ion and has not been incorporated with hard buttons on the front which provides it a flat and sleek front panel.

The glossy construction of the phone is designed with slight curves at the edges to support comfortable gripping. The chassis of the phone holds its 3.7 inch display which offers screen resolution of 960 x 540 pixels.  The screen is a reality display which is powered by Mobile BRAVIA engine to offer ultimate HD viewing experience.

Performance

Sony Xperia SX mobile lets you experience speedy performance and processing with its dual Core Processor Krait processor on Qualcomm Snapdragon Chipset. With the clocking speed of 1.5GHz and 1GB RAM you can expect some smooth multitasking and efficient performance.

The phone runs on Android latest version V4.0 – Ice Cream Sandwich which lets you download your favorite applications from Android market in no time. Don’t worry for the storage capacity; Xperia SX mobile is incorporated with 8GB built-in space which is expandable up to 32GB using MicroSD card.

Camera

Sony has been renowned for delivering excellent quality pictures with its high end camera specifications in its range of phones.  Likewise, Sony Xperia SX mobile is also incorporated with impressive 8 Mega pixels camera which is accompanied with Exmor R Camera sensor.

The rear camera offers capturing of 3264 x 2448 pixels images and video recording of 1080 pixels at 30 frames per second.  The camera offers various imaging features including touch focus, Autofocus, LED flash face and smile detection, Image Stabilization and 3D sweep Panorama. While recording Video, you can make use of Video Light and Video Stabilizer for enhancing its quality.

There’s a front snapper of 1.3 Mega pixels which enables ease of video calling/ conferencing to users.

Multimedia

Sony Xperia SX smartphone is incorporated with WALKMAN application preloaded to let you experience life like sound quality with features including Surround sound, Clear Stereo, Clear bass and Manual Equalizer to manage the sound effects.

Similarly, Movies and Album applications allow HD video and photos reviewing in higher speeds. Searching your image files and favorite music files is highly intuitive which delivers you rich and pleasant experience.
