HTC Desire C Low Budget ICS-powered Phone

HTC Desire C mobile Review

Putting an end to anticipation of all mobile freaks and after strings of leaks, HTC finally launched HTC Desire Cmaking another addition in its Smartphone lineup.

You can’t call HTC Desire C mobile a high end device with its moderately low specifications but the only best thing in the package is Google’s latest OS – Android V4.0 ICS.

Design & Display

Inspired from HTC One seriesHTC Desire C is made a small design measuring 11.95mm thick which feels compact while kept in hand. It can’t be called skinniest phone but it isn’t going to offend with its dimensions either.

Hold it on your palm; the tactile finish of the phone makes it secure enough to be held comfortably. Apart from that, imagine such a light weight phone with just 98gms weight including battery.

The conventional prototype is given three touch buttons at the bottom of the display which is a 3.5 inch capacitive touch screen of 320 x 480 pixels resolution. Don’t go on its diminutive dimensions, it offers enough room to play your favorite applications and games.

Performance

HTC Desire C mobile runs on Android 4 with Sense 4 UI – thankfully you’ll not have to wait for any updates on OS when you’ll take it out of the box.

The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 chipset with 600MHz processor. The combination of 512MB of RAM with slow CPU might give you a feeling of entry level specifications under the hood. We don’t regard it as remarkable but you can expect some decent speed while you are multitasking.

The device is integrated with 4GB internal memory but still you can bung in your memory card to expand it up to 32GB.

Camera

HTC Desire C mobile is packed with 5MP rear camera which comes with autofocus but no LED flash. You can expect noisier pictures during low light but enjoy sharper images during daytime and bright lighting situations.

The rear camera enables VGA quality video recording and since there’s no secondary camera there’s no facility of video calling using front snapper.

Enjoy photo sharing through Facebook and Twitter as the phone enables high social interactions for users to share their favorite clicks in no time.

Audio

HTC Desire C mobile is incorporated with patented Beats Audio Music feature which is meant for people who enjoy listening to authentic music. Plug in your headphone in 3.5mm audio jack and experience some amazing sound experience while you are on the go.

The integrated music experience not only brings to you remarkable audio playback but also ensures easy access of all your music libraries, favorite playlists, audio applications and Internet radio through one suitable location.

HTC Desire C Mobile Price in India – Rs. 14,990/- (Expected)
