Canon EF 300mm lens is an ultra-fast Telephoto consisting of 16 elements in 12 groups. The Lens is fluorite optics with UD elements which help eliminating chromatic aberration and delivering crispier and sharper images. The fluorine coating in the lens helps to keep your lens away from fingerprints, soiling and smudges.

New Image stabilization features two stage correction – Dual Axis Camera shake correction and vertical Axis panning correction. The IS system provides up to four extra stops of performance which makes sure that you are delivered with sharpest possible image at high aperture range, even during hand held shooting.

The inner Ultrasonic Motor (USM) makes sure that the output comes with quieter and quicker autofocussing which doesn’t let anyone know when the image is clicked. Thankfully the Lens Ring’s USM driven autofocus delivers perfectly focused shots whenever you click in-motion subjects.

Canon Telephoto EF 300 mm offers versatile aperture range till f/2.8(max). The Circular 8 blade aperture helps you capture images with visible ‘bokeh’ effect. The combination of 300mm telephoto compression and thin depth of field at f/2.8 can deliver you beautiful ‘Out of focus’ background pictures in no time.

The filter thread on the lens accommodates 52mm lens filter on the front of the telephoto lens which is generally rare on the Canon lens which use 58mm dimensions.

The color and contrast aspects of the lens are excellent in Canon Telephoto EF 300mm lens. Its 3 position focus limiter switch limits the focusing distance to a specific distance range which improves the focus lock times.

There is a focus preset feature which allows you to return to a specific preset focus just by turning the ring in front of the focus ring. The preset feature lets you set the focus to a particular distance as according to your shooting needs.
